Ohno blink his eyes in the dark. He’s lying on his side on the bed. He’s guessing that it’s around 3 in the morning. Somehow it’s become a habit of his. Well, more like a habit of his body. No matter how tired or how exhausted he was when he falls asleep, he could not stop from waking up in the middle of the night. Even when he’s having a night out fishing, he’ll be restless around this time. And he knows why.

Ohno could feel the heat from someone palms emanating through his back. Slowly, he turns around, grabbing that ‘someone’ hands into his. He gave them a kiss before sliding his arm around the man, holding him close. Ohno breathe into the smell that is Nino. Gently, Ohno starts to trace his fingers over Nino’s face. His eyelids, his nose, his cheek, his lips. Nino. Ohno press their foreheads together as he laid his left hand over Nino’s heart. Silently counting to the beat of Nino’s heart. Making sure that the man is still breathing, still here with him. With a satisfied sigh, Ohno closes his eyes, welcoming back the much needed sleep. “I love you Nino” he sleepily mumbled, left hand not moving from their spot. The man in his arm snuggle closer, arms around Ohno’s waist.

Author's Note:technically it's already saturday here ^^. But wth... in celebration of the bachelor's party at kos_mos26and the highlight-->ohmiya wedding at evolardnek, I bring you my version of the proposal (which haf been sitting in my notebook for too long already ;D)

“I’ve told the families” Ohno announced.

It was supposed to be a quiet celebration for their 3rd year together and Nino mark the special occassion by making them dinner.

Nino stared at Ohno as he sat before him. Puzzled.

“Told what?” Nino enquired.

“I’ve told the families about us” Ohno clarified.

Nino widen his eyes.For as much as he want the rest of the world knew that he's in love with a man named Ohno Satoshi, he just can't. He’s not ready to do to his or Ohno’s mom yet. Motto.Chotto.

“Families?” Nino twist his napkin.

“Mine and yours” Ohno confirms

Nino gave a small wail and put his head on the table.

“Nino? It’s ok. They knew. In fact they’ve known for a long time. We haven’t exactly been subtle you know. They weren’t a bit surprised. In fact it seems like our mothers have been chatting about us a lot.” Ohno pat Nino’s head.

“Why did you do that anyway? How come you didn’t ask me to go together?”

“Well…I have to properly meet your parents…”

“What for? You can just see them when you come over to my house.”

Ohno produce a silver ring from his right hand.

He took Nino’s hand with his left one.

“Because I want to get their permission to marry you”

Nino eyes widen.

His eyes moving from the ring to Ohno’s face.

Ohno flip  open his phone, showing a picture of two beaming families; holding cards scrawled with words of encouragement and congratulations.

Nino’s eyes start watering.

“I want you in my life forever. I want to see you wake up every morning. I want to make you soups when you’re sick. I want you to be there when I take my last breath.  I want you” Ohno speaks calmly as he lace his fingers through Nino's. 

Ohno move to slide into a chair next to Nino.

One hand cupping Nino’s face while the other wound around his body, bringing him close to Ohno.

Nino lay his head on the crook of Ohno’s shoulder. Vision blurry.

Ohno stroke his back lightly.

“I love you Ninomiya Kazunari. Marry me?” Ohno whispers into his ears.
Nino tilt his head up, light brown eyes searching through Ohno's darker ones."I will"

Ohno broke into a smile.

He slips the ring through Nino’s finger.

It's a perfect fit.

He lace their fingers together again, kissing the ring finger.

His eyes were watery when he face Nino.

“Thank you”

And he leans forward for a kiss.

Ohno is tired.

Too tired.

The shooting. Promotions. Photo shoots.

All those are making him more exhausted than ever.

More so because they aren’t with him this time around.

It felt weird.

Weird not to find MatsuJun lounging around, being serious and sipping those yellowish water of his.

Weird not to track an energetic aiba munching on the snacks provided in their dressing room.

Weird not to gaze at a concentrating Sho as he read his papers one by one.

Weird not to hear the familiar clickity-clack of Nino’s DS. The look of total concentration on his face. The small smirk.

Matsujun have been openly supportive on Ohno’s venture to the TV-show world.

But it was Nino who finds his way to the first episode, keen to give Ohno his support by giving his best during shooting. Niño was the one that kept his mind from being dangerously absorbed in the character by keeping Ohno awestruck with his card tricks. It was a chuckling Nino who wraps the towel around Ohno as he stands naked in front of the mirror. It was Nino who willingly took time off just so he could adjust their time together around Ohno’s busy schedule this year.

As Ohno put his shoes away, slipping on his slippers and slowly make his way through the apartment, his heart caught in his throat as he caught sight of a sleeping Nino on the living room sofa. The man must have been waiting for Ohno return as Ohno could see two mugs filled with milk on the coffee table. He really didn’t want to interrupt Nino’s slumber, but its cold out here in the living room. Ohno scoop the slight man up in his arms and heads towards the bedroom. The bed is big and comfortable. Ohno makes sure that Nino is tucked in the warm comforter before he changes into his PJ and joins the younger man. He wraps Nino in his arms, facing each other.Ohno drinks in the face in front of him. He never had someone like Nino before. And he was sure that he could never find one like him ever again. So he’s going to hold on. He’s in for good. Ohno leans forward and drop a kiss on Nino’s eyelid, snuggling closer as he too close his eyes.
 

Ohno woke up as he heard Nino having another one of his coughing fit in the middle of the night.

Quickly he turns on the table lamp, pouring some water into the glass on the bedside table.

Cautious not to let the water spill, Ohno offer the glass to Nino, which he took graciously.

Ohno gave small comforting pat on the man back as Nino sip the water.

He wipes the small beads of sweats on Nino’s forehead using his fingers.
He took the glass from Nino’s hand when he was sure that the man has taken every single drop of the precious water.

He then return the glass to its original place using his left hand while his right fingers lace through Nino’s.

He turns off the lamp before sliding forward to close the gap between them, carefully tucking the man under his chin as they lean back on the bed.

His hand continues rubbing circles on Nino’s back. Keen to give him as much comfort as possible.

Ohno continues the pattern till he hears the calm breathing of a sleeping Nino.

Satisfied that the man is free from any more coughing, Ohno snuggles deeper into the fluffy hair of Nino, closing his eyes as he welcome back the sleep.

oh baby~~~~~i wanna kidnap you and take care of you till you get well.
and yes, of course ohno can come too.

“what?” Ohno was looking intently at Nino. Thinking to himself…Nino always have the most delicious looking neck he have ever seen. 
The creamy expanse of his skin, the curve of his neck. It’s bewitching. 
He can’t stop looking at them. Especially when Nino’s wearing one of those large neck shirt of his, slightly covered by his jacket.

He wanted to mark those as his.

Without warning, Ohno leans over, and bite into the juncture of Nino’s neck

“oh-chan!” Nino nearly drive them into a ditch. His heart beating fast.

“what's that for?!!“

“nothing. I just want to mark you as mine” Ohno smile grows as the bite mark slowly turn red.

Nino rolls his eyes.

“is there really a need? I’ve been yours for 8 years already”
